Our Mission

The mission of our organization is to create bridges of understanding through the arts and education, believing that these are important means to bring the necessary human understanding between China and the West for peaceful world relations.

The organization continues to build on past achievements and relationships, continuing internationally recognized cultural exchange programs with prominent artists from around the world
  • to set up a “bridge” of understanding between China and the West 
  • to allow artists of Chinese heritage to achieve their highest potential as cultural ambassadors for world audiences. 

​Founded in 2000 as the Committee of 100 Cultural Institute, the US-China Cultural Institute, Cultural Associate of the Committee of 100, is an independent nonprofit 501(c)3 organization but continues its association with the Committee of 100 as its Cultural Associate.

​The US-China Cultural Institute, Cultural Association of the Committee of 100, is a non-profit charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Happy Chinese New Year, Fantastic Art China New York Event Series
A Chinese New Year annual event series dedicated to the themes of art, education, and environmental conservation, through partnerships with leading New York institutions as it brings the celebration to iconic New York City locations. The 2016 Year of the Monkey celebration events included a five-day art exhibition at Javits Center, fireworks over the Hudson, Empire State Building lighting, and the New York Philharmonic 5th Annual Chinese New Year Concert and Gala.

Dancing into the Future
​“Dancing into the Future – I can too” is a collaboration between US National Dance Institute, China Welfare Institute Children’s Palace and Minhang School District and the USCCI as co-organizer using dance & music for social development of children, including migrant worker children. Since its inception in 2011, 7000 children and 50 Chinese teachers have participated in the program.
